My parents have cream color carpet in the dining area of their place. They tend to sit for the grandchildren quite a bit. This would make it so that the food that doesn't make it into the child also doesn't make it onto their carpeting.

oh I wish I had one this morning! My 17 month old made a HUGE mess of a muffin.....ugh!! And I'm pregnant with number two so I would use this for a LONG time!

I've seen these before in the blogosphere and they look like such a great product! Why do I need one? Because we're moving to a very nice rental house and I don't want to ruin the hardwood floors. :) I like either color. Oh my, what an amazing invention! Our almost two year old is a 'me do it' kind of gal. That includes ALL foods, not just the ones that would be easy for her to feed herself. Also, for some reason she has taken to having to use her spoon or fork upside down! Ugh. The dog likes it, when it's food he likes. He doesn't do vegetables though. :)
