Sad Times

Yesterday, my uncle, who was in his 50's, unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack. He was raising my two cousins, one in 8th grade and one in 11th grade, on his own after my aunt died of cancer several years ago. It's so unfair! He was a wonderful person and father, and was planning to retire after this school year...he was an English teacher. It's just quite a shock, and I don't think I've even comprehended his being gone.....what a loss....he was one of the most wonderful people I ever met in my life......and it's just not fair!

Mama Needs a New Printer!!!

Here's a picture of my current printer.

I know, I know, it's not that bad looking right?

It should suffice, even for my teacher printing needs right?

WRONG!!! IT DOESN'T WORK!!! IT'S BROKEN!

How did it break you might ask?

Well, a certain 2 year old little darling thought it would be entertaining to throw his sippy cup on the ground until the little plastic insert thing came out....and then drip his juice into the printer!!! What fun!!!

Why wasn't I watching him you might ask??

Oh...I've got that covered....it happened when he was home with Daddy!!! Yes....imagine...Daddy letting a 2 year old get into things he shouldn't.......OK, you probably don't actually have to imagine that...I mean, we all know that husbands can't.................WAIT....I'll stop while I'm ahead..

OK....I've always said that I wanted to have boys when I "grew up". When I was young I used to say I'd have 2 boys, and that I wanted all boys. As I had my first son, I never really changed from that preference of wanting boys, and my saying so seemed to come true by my having 3 boys. But today I have to say......
